everyday minerals - R E V I E W

i'll make this short and sweet, for the sake of #duh.


a couple months ago i received some everyday minerals samples in the mail, including some eye shadows. i was excited because 1. their products are "all natural, completely vegan, cruelty free, and handmade... with eco-friendly, recyclable packaging," and 2. i was hoping to have found a new favorite makeup brand that is more affordable.

i'm still jazzed about their prices, but honestly, i will probably never buy more stuff from them. i tried three different shadow colors for contouring and not one of them is very pigmented. they are loose powder so i feel like i always have a lot on my brush and yet i can hardly see it on my eyelid.

 take it or leave it, you win some, you lose some.

  1. Have you tried wetting your brush before dipping it in the shadow? It works best with shimmery mineral eye shadows because it turns it into a glamorous foil look, but it might help the pigment look a little stronger at least in these?
